Kate Sheehan, LCSW, is a Certified The Daring Way™ Facilitator. She leads retreats and online groups in the work of Brené Brown.
The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ workshops and retreats are based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. In small groups, we focus on the ways trust, shame and vulnerability either serve or disable us in relationships, careers, and wellbeing. We learn to:
rise stronger with courage and confidence when we experience failures, setbacks, and challenges.
develop new skills for resilience – critical skills we all need at home and at work.
shed the stories that no longer serve us.
ABOUT THE DARING WAY™
Be all in.
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. Together we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, and lead.
