Online Introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion (Tuesday evenings)

Let’s Connect

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a set of practical tools to deal with the problems that arise between us and within our communities. These gentle lessons and practices can help us connect more kindly to ourselves and to those around us.

Mindful Self-Compassion is…

  • six weekly sessions of 1:15 each

  • short lessons on research-driven wisdom

  • in-class meditations and small group discussion,

  • and home strategies to counteract the negative messages we receive from our society, our acquaintances, and ourselves.

Who is welcome…

MSC is designed for members of the general public. Meditation experience is not necessary to participate in MSC.  All are welcome! The program is based on the values of equity, diversity and inclusiveness. Together, we will build new habits of supportive language, gestures, and actions to support ourselves, our families, and our communities.

What it costs...:

This course is offered to the community as a pay-what-you-can event. Recommended donation is $300, with a minimum request of $20/week. All are encouraged to pay at the highest affordable level to allow for those experiencing financial hardship to join us. None will be turned away for lack of funds.
